Stevie Wonder is once again divorced …
According to divorce papers obtained by the magazine People, the split between the singer and his second wife, Kai Millard Morris, was made official on Monday by a Los Angeles judge.
Wonder and Morris – who married in 2001 – have two son together, Kailand Morrisand Mandla Kadjay Carl Stevland Morris, aged 14 and 10 years. The couple will share custody of the children, but the singer, winner of Grammys, will pay $ 25,000 per month alimony.
Wonder had separated from Millard Morris in 2009 and had initiated divorce proceedings in 2012.
A representative had told E! at the time “Today Stelvand Morris began divorce proceedings with Kai Millard Morris. This is part of the private sphere and we ask the public and media to respect the privacy of Kai, his children and family during this period. ”
The singer has a total of nine children, aged 40 to 10 months, with five different women. Dated her last child, Nia, was born in December 2014 and is the result of his relationship with Tomeeka Robyn Bracy, his current girlfriend.
