Roddy Ricch reclaims the No. 1 spot on Billboard 200 from Eminem. His smash album ‘Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial’ has returned to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for a third nonconsecutive week.
Last week, Slim Shady’s surprise album hit No. 1 and made history in the process. Eminem became the first artist to ever have 10 consecutive albums debut at the top spot of the Billboard 200. In the U.S., Please Excuse Me collected just under 95,000 equivalent album sales in the week ending Jan. 30, which pushed Ricch to the top. It first rose to no. 1 on the Dec. 21, 2019 chart, then dropped for three weeks, before returning to No. 1 on Jan. 18. The album then fell again for two weeks, before recovering.
Roddy’s return to No. 1 marks the third time his album has led the chart. The LP previously debuted at No. 1 in December and made its way back to the top in mid-January.
