Real Madrid the king of Europe has reportedly signed the most lucrative kit deal in soccer history, agreeing to a sponsorship with adidas worth $1.2 billion, far surpassing the Spanish club’s current $59 million a year deal. Reports suggest the contract will run from 2020 to 2030.

According to reports, the deal is set for 10 years with each year worth €110 million ($125 million USD) — Los Blancos’s current deal is worth €52 million ($59 million USD) and the agreement is a renewal of contracts as the Three Stripes have been sponsoring the club since 1998.

 

Real Madrid rival Barcelona signed a deal with Nike worth approximately $95 million a year, while the Premier League’s Manchester United is the second highest-paid Adidas club at $97 million per year.Real Madrid will also overtake Manchester United club as the highest paid team with Man Utd currently raking in €85 million ($97 million USD).
