The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has delivered a baby boy.

An excited Prince Harry, who witnessed the birthing process, confirmed the news to media outlets today.

He said: “Yes, I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a beautiful baby boy early this morning. A very healthy boy. Mother and bay are doing very well. It’s been the most amazing experience. I could never possibly imagine how any woman does – what they do is beyond comprehension. We are both absolutely thrilled and so grateful too for all the love and support of everybody out there.”

Meanwhile, an announcement has also beem made on the Instagram page of the royal couple stating “It’s a boy.”

Prince Harry’s wife went into labour earlier today, as confirmed by the Buckingham Palace. The 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex had been keeping a low profile with her husband, the 34-year-old Duke of Sussex in their new home of Frogmore Cottage.

It was previously expected Meghan Markle would have a home birth as she and Harry try to keep the arrival private.

The baby is now seventh in line to the British throne behind Prince Charles, Prince William and his three children and Prince Harry. He is the seventh great-grandchild for Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II.
