Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DAMN.’ Records 25 Consecutive Weeks in The Billboard 200 Top 10

Kendrick Lamar’s album ‘DAMN’ released in April is still holding on to a spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The album’s first week saw it cruise to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and also move just over 600,000 units.

To give Lamar’s achievement some context, three major acts – Ed Sheeran, Drake, and Katy Perry – have all released albums this year but only DAMN and ‘Divide’ have spent 25 weeks or more on the Billboard 200 chart. Ed’s latest album has copped up 27 weeks on the infamous chart but his longest streak is only 20 weeks.

Back in July, Billboard unveiled their mid-year report for top-performing albums and DAMN. led the way with 1,772,00 units.
