Adidas Originals is finally releasing the brand new ARKYN silhouette in April, after revealing that it would be dropping late last year.

Described by the brand as “a trainer for creating, working, thinking, inspiring and collaborating in,” the shoe is made with creatives in mind. “It’s time to push back on the cliches, they’re wearing thin. A new, technical silhouette, rooted in adidas’ iconic vintage style, that looks both to yesterday and tomorrow. Like the best creatives, the shoe is inspired by the archive and the future,” states the label.

Modelled and shot by Kendall Jenner & Renell Medrano in Jenner’s Soho apartment. The sneaker features a clean and techincal mesh upper, decorated with the brand’s classic Three Stripe detailing as well as a mesh tongue. Designed with a sock-like constriction, the silhouette sports a neoprene heel and a minimalist lacing system that can be worn however the individual chooses. “No rules. No Instructions. No Hype,” is the idea behind the sneaker, and echoes the idea of creativity to the fullest.
