JAY-Z has teamed up with his close business partner and Roc Nation president Jay Brown and Walden Venture Capital’s Larry Marcus for a new venture fund.

Known as Marcy Venture Partners, the firm will be led by Marcus, who received recognition for his early support of Netflix and Pandora. JAY-Z’s latest major investment effort comes to us following recent news involving his work with the “Promise” app, stock trading app Robinhood and the venture capital fund Arrive. In the past, the NYC icon has also invested in Uber, JetSmarter and Julep.

This report comes just a week after Jay surprised fans with a joint album with his wife, Beyonce, called Love Is Everything, which just debuted at no. 2 on the Billboard 200. It fell short to this week’s top album, 5 Seconds Of Summer’s Youngblood.
