“Game of Thrones” stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington were married Saturday in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The pair began dating in 2012 after meeting on “Game of Thrones” and announced their engagement in September 2017.
Their nuptials were attended by several members of the “Game of Thrones” cast, including Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and Emilia Clarke.
According to TMZ, the King (and now Queen) of the North were married in yesterday in the Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland. In true Scottish style, Leslie’s kilt-sporting father walked her down the isle. All your favorite Game of Thrones stars were in attendance, including Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams.
After the ceremony, the reception took place at Leslie’s family castle. Yes, you’re reading that correctly. In an ironic twist of fate, it seems that the wildling girl was actually royalty after all, as her family are descendants from King Charles II, and they do actually own a castle. Not a bad deal for the bastard son of Lord Stark.
