The Juventus forward said his new club is among the best in the world and his decision to transfer was made very easy thanks to its supporters
For Cristiano Ronaldo, leaving behind almost nine years with Real Madrid was a very easy choice.
The now Juventus attacker shocked the world when he decided to transfer from the La Liga club to the Italian side.
And he didn’t think it twice.
“I don’t have a precise moment when I decided. During the years, we played a few times against Juve and I had a special feeling that the Italian supporters like Cristiano,” he told Juventus TV.
“It’s the biggest club in Italy, one of the best in the world, so it was an easy decision, as Juve are an unbelievable club,” he said.
He is scheduled to play against Chievo next week when the 2018-2019 Serie A season begins.
About his new squad, he was very happy about being in Torino.
“Great club, first of all, it is a great club. Since I was a kid, I looked at this team and said I hope to play there one day,” he commented.
“Now I will play for a fantastic club, one of the biggest clubs in the world. I’m happy.”
