Beyoncé is the latest major celebrity to sign on with streaming juggernaut Netflix. In a three-project deal worth $60 million, Beyoncé becomes another entertainer/creator Netflix has been able to sway into joining forces. One of the first projects coming out of the deal is the Homecoming documentary that takes a behind-the-scenes look into Beyoncé’s epic Coachella performance.
Variety is also reporting that Beyoncé was initially in talks with HBO who she has worked with in the past, most notably with the Lemonade short-film. However, Netflix’s hefty $60 million offer was something Mrs. Carter couldn’t refuse.
