Apple is expected to breakup its iTunes software into separateTV, Music, andPodcast apps inthe next major update for macOS. According to 9to5mac.

The new apps are said to be marizpan application similar to the Apple News app on the Mac, which will share an overarching design and codebase with their iOS counterparts on the iPhone and iPad. The Music app would presumably be focused on offering a home for the Apple Music service away from the baggage of iTunes.

It has been reported that the Music app will focus on offering a home for the Apple Music service away from iTunes. The new TV app will be a place for Apple’s upcoming new service, Apple TV Plus. And needless to say, the Podcasts app will get podcasts. The Books app, which is already on macOS, will also be getting a similar Marzipan redesignthat will make it more like the updated app that was released by Apple last year, along with iOS 12.
