Apple Music set to introduce a new personal playlist based on your friends’ listening activity, according to TechCrunch.
The “Friends Mix” is said to include 25 songs that were recently played by people in your network. It has not been formally announced by Apple, but certain users have seen banners advertising the new service, and experts have learned that the update will be rolled out to users on beta versions of iOS 12, macOS Mojave, or tvOS 12.
Apple Music is reportedly attempting to expand its playlist library to compete with Spotify, which hosts the ever-popular Rap Cavuiar among many other popular mixes. Apple recently surpassed Spotify in paid-U.S. subscribers, a huge move for the company.
